Hello Cupcake - More Sparkly Stained Glass

I said last week that I had made several more cards using the Sparkly Stained Glass Technique. I'm sharing two of them with you today :o) Both use the Freebie Sale-a-Bration stamp set Hello Cupcake.

A heads up here too .... I had to cut the Cupcake Frosting out by hand. This wasn't too bad because the image is simple but the layers of Acetate and Glimmer card together, don't make it easy!

On 1st March Stampin' Up! are releasing some Limited Edition products that coordinate with some of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets - Framelits!!! :o) So if you love this set, but don't want to have to cut it out by hand, make a note to check back on 1st March!

You can see the other cards I made using this Technique HERE and HERE. I also did a Video Tutorial HERE.

The colour combination used on this first card is Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight.

The Background paper is from the Gingham Gala 6" stack and I ran it through the Big Shot with the Tufted embossing folder.

The Daffodil Delight Organdy ribbon is from the Free Sale-a-Bration ribbon pack.

I used Lovely Lipstick and Pool Party for the colour combination on this card.

The paper is from the Subtles 6" stack.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment. I first stamped it using Lovely Lipstick ink and then stamped it again in the same position using Versamark ink. It was then heat embossed using Clear Powder.
