Concertina Fold Panel Card - Using Animal Outing

A little while back I created two Concertina Fold Panel Cards using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and coordinating punches. I also created this one at that time using Animal Outing, but I hadn't shared it with you yet other than a brief look in the Videos I created for them.

I love this style of card and I especially loved creating this one. It's cute and so much fun.

The card measures 6" x 5" and has some dimension, which is why I created the Box to hold it.

The papers I used are all from the Animal Expedition Designer Series paper pack which sadly is now retired. I had almost a full pack left and it coordinated so perfectly with this stamp set that I had to use it.

I really like how the front of the card turned out. I have had the Leaf Ribbon for a long time and hadn't used it, so wanted to incorporate it onto this card. It's beautiful ribbon too, really soft and silky.

This is how the card looks when open. I had originally intended to use the stamp set to decorate the panels but some of the images were just a little too wide, so I had to rethink. All the images I used in the end were cut from one of the paper sheets.

My original cards were very dimensional. I included layers that were raised up. I didn't want that for this card, I wanted to keep everything as flat as possible, so all the images and the sentiment were glued flat to the panels.

The Whisper White panels were all ink blended with Pool Party first and then run through my die-cutting machine with the Subtles Dynamic embossing folder. Each of them was layered onto a Crumb Cake mat before being added to the panels.

This is how the card looks from the top.

I added a panel on to the back of the card so there was a space to write a personal message. This was again decorated with an image from the stamp set.

All the images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

This is the coordinating Box. I used the Delightful Tag Topper punch to create the Tag. The images are again from the stamp set. The Bird images were from the High Tide stamp set.

If you would like to make this style of card and a coordinating box to hold it you will find the Video Tutorials HERE.
