Flowers of Friendship - with the Basic Borders Dies - Video Tutorial


Today I'm sharing some very pretty cards created using the Flowers of Friendship stamp set and the Basic Borders dies. 

You can find a Video Tutorial below showing you how I made these cards.


I used Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green for this first card. The background paper used is from our retired Gingham Gala 6" paper pack - I'm almost at the end of this now!


The sentiment was die cut using one of the Ornate Frames dies.


This is the card I created in the Video.

There are 6 different Border dies in the set and you could use all but one of them for this style of card - so many options!



The colours used on this second card are Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. I used the light Pool Party Blends alcohol marker to outline the image - this really makes it 'pop'.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

 

         

Granny Apple Green card base                ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

Basic White (Inside)                                       14.4cm x 10cm      (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Melon Mambo                                                   14.1cm x 9.8cm     (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Sand & Sea DSP                                                13.8cm x 9.5cm     (US 5” x 3)

Whisper White                                                 13.8cm x 9.5cm     (US 5” x 3)

 

 

You will need extra Basic White to complete the project.
