Perched In A Tree - Birthday

Today I'm sharing another simple Birthday Card created using the lovely Perched In A Tree stamp set.

This stamp set is one of our 'Christmas' offerings this year, but I prefer it for birthdays - the images work well for either :o)

The images were stamped using Soft Suede ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

The sentiment comes from the Go To Greetings stamp set and the background was embossed using the Timber 3D embossing folder.

Kindest Gnomes - Birthday

And another card created using the Gnomes dies :o)

These dies coordinate with the Kindest Gnomes stamp set ... but I only used the dies for this card.

All the Gnome pieces were die cut from Basic White card. They were then coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

The sentiment comes from the Go To Greetings stamp set and was die cut using one of the Stitched Rectangles dies. 

I used a Partial Die-cutting technique to make the die cut smaller than the actual size of the die so it would fit the sentiment better :o)

Soft Seedlings - Card 2 - Baby Wipe Ink Pad Technique - Video Tutorial

Today's card is the second design I created using the Baby Wipe Ink Pad Technique. I created 4 different designs altogether, the first of which I showed you in an earlier post.

All the cards were created using the Soft Seedlings stamp set which is a perfect set to use with this technique.

I used one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes set to cut out the sentiment. It was actually a little short for the sentiment so I did some Partial Die Cutting to extend the die length. I show you how to do this in the Video.

The Video shows you the creation of all 4 card designs.

I used colours from the Regals Collection to build my ink pad - Crushed Curry, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green and Rich Razzleberry. 

I love this card, the colours are all so beautiful together.

I cut 5 lengths of Linen Thread to go around the front of the card. Then using another length, I tied the sentiment tag on to them into a bow. 

The sentiment has a couple of Dimensionals on the back to keep it in position.
