Afternoon Picnic - Mum - Scrapbook Page

This is the second Page from this month's Scrapbook class.

I decided to create a Page dedicated to my mum :o) It's Mothering Sunday in the UK this coming weekend and it seemed appropriate. 

All the elements used are the same for the previous page, but with the addition of the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching Framelits.

Party Gifts!

This set is one I used for some of my Parties during the recent Sale-a-Bration promotion period.

The Hostess gift box (left) contains product samples of ribbon and other accessories. I gave this to my Hostesses as a 'Thank you' gift from me for holding a Party :o)

The Door Prize gift box (right) contains some rather fabulous chocolates and this is 'won' by one of the attendees.

I used the Hearts a Flutter stamps set together with a little of the More Amore Speciality papers (pages 10 and 11 Spring/Summer Catalogue). The gorgeous pink ribbon is the Two Tone Ribbon (page 13 Spring/Summer Catalogue). The blue ribbon is the Pool Party Seam Binding (page 172 Main Catalogue). 

Chalkboard Valentine

The Chalkboard Technique is so popular right now. 

There are several ways to do it - all using black cardstock:

Stamp your image(s) using White Craft ink and leave to dry.

Stamp using White Craft ink and Heat Emboss with White Embossing Powder.

Stamp using Versamark and Heat Emboss with White Embossing Powder.

You can then pick up a little White Craft ink with a piece of Kitchen Roll and work it gently into the black cardstock to create a 'dusty' look.

It's also very popular to draw lines around the edges of the 'board'. This can be done using the White Watercolour Pencil or the White Gel Pen.
