Today's card is another created using the In The Trees stamp set. I kept with the same colour scheme for all my cards this week.
The string of lights in this set is really sweet. I stamped them out using Smoky Slate ink. There is a separate little stamp for the 'glow' and I stamped this for each light using Daffodil Delight ink.
This time I stamped the Tree using Smoky Slate ink. I then coloured the leaves using an Aqua Painter and the Old Olive ink pad. I was fairly careful when colouring so I still have some white space left among the branches when finished. After going over them the first time, I used a little darker Old Olive ink to cover just some of the leaves. This gives the Tree just a little extra dimension :o)
