Over The Moon - With Country Home - Video Tutorial

Sadly the Over Moon stamp set is one of the ones we will be losing this month - it won't be carrying over to our new Annual Catalogue.

I love all our 'cute' sets and will miss the ones that are leaving us at the end of this month. But we do have lots of new cute sets coming!

This is another card that I've been wanting to create for a long time. The inspiration comes from one made by KazsKraftDesigns. I saw a card of hers ages ago using both of these sets together and thought it was a super idea :o)

The paper used for these cards comes from the Country Club 12" pack. I'm ashamed to say I hadn't used any of this yet ... even with lots of plans to do so ... so dug it out for these cards :o)

The images were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

This is the card I created in the Video. I kept the front panel exactly the same as my first card, just changing the colour of the card base and the Designer Series Paper to Night of Navy.

Here is the Video ...

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).
If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

Over The Moon - Pop Out Panel Card

Good Morning! Today's card is another Pop Out Panel card. I had so much fun creating the one I made last week that I had to make some more :o)

You can see my Daisy Lane one HERE and there will be another one next Monday :o)

Over The Moon is one of my favourite stamp sets in the Annual Catalogue ... I love it! The images make me smile and are so cute!

I did just a little masking with the Stamparatus for the front of the card so it looks like the standing Cows are behind the one laying down :o)

The WoW factor is really the inside! I love these panels! The one under the sentiment was created by stamping with scrap bits of rubber to make it look like Cow patches.

The background paper is from the retired 6" Neutrals stack. We still sell these but the designs have now changed. I have linked the new one below.

I created the panels so that they would stay raised in the centre even if the card is laid flat. This stops the centre score line folding the wrong way and stopping the panels popping up.

NOTE: if you are in the US or use 8½" x 11" as your standard card and want to recreate this card you will need to bear a couple of things in mind .....

Each panel measures 2¾" across with the scalloped layer underneath. This is the same width as each section on the strip you glue the panels to, so I think they will probably be too wide. You could leave the Pool Party scalloped layers off and just use the white panels. Or .... you could use the Oval Stitched Shapes framelits together with the Layering Ovals. Or .... you could cut your base card and strip from 12" cardstock instead - if you did this your scoring for the strip would be 3", 6"  and 9" and not what I tell you in the Video below. I hope that helps :o)

This is the back of the card ... lots of room to write a message :o)

If you would like to see how I make this type of card, here is the Video ... I used smaller panels here so there isn't an issue with the size of them for the US :)
