Painted Poppies - Simple Pop-Up Card - Video Tutorial

I used the Painted Poppies stamp set and coordinating Painted Labels dies for today's Video.

I also used some of the wonderful Hand Penned Designer Series Paper.

The cards are Pop-Up cards. Super simple to create, but very pretty!

The main colour used for this first card is Pale Papaya. The leaf and stem were coloured with Mint Macaron.

The images were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

I added a little Pool Party ink with a Blending Brush over the images.

The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

The cards are a little more bulky than a normal card but will still fit into your usual A2/C6 envelopes.

This is the card I created in the Video. I used Highland Heather as the contrast colour this time.

The Hand Penned papers are absolutely gorgeous ... some of my all time favourites!

Painted Poppies - Embossing With Toilet Roll

Today I'm sharing another card created using the Embossing With Toilet Roll technique :o)

I showed you a different card in my previous post - HERE and also created a Video demonstrating the technique.

Today's card has a completely different look to my previous one.

I used the Painted Poppies stamp set and coordinating dies together with some of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.

The Old Olive embossed panel was created using the Toilet Tissue. I used one of the new embossing folders from the Greenery set - this will be available from next month.

The sentiment comes from the Country Home stamp set.

Painted Poppies - Gift Box and Card - Video Tutorial

Today's Video shows you how I created this Gift Box.

I used the Painted Poppies stamp set and coordinating Painted Labels dies as well as the beautiful Peaceful Poppies stamp set.

The Gift Box measures 7½" tall x 2¾" wide x 1½" deep. 

I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for the outlines on the flowers and leaves and heat embossed them using Clear powder.

It opens at the top. The base was constructed from Mossy Meadow cardstock. The red layer is Poppy Parade.

This is the card I created to go with it. I don't show you how to make this in the Video, but I do give you the measurements for it below. The design is very simple. I did add additional layers to the Flower head and the bud.

The Rhinestones were coloured using the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends alcohol marker.
