Team Meeting - Swaps - One Big Meaning

One Big Meaning is a new stamp set in the Annual Catalogue. It's a beautiful 'Thank You' stamp set containing 7 different sentiments.

I decided to use it for my Swap cards for this months Team Meeting.

The background was stamped using the Dots For Days stamp. I used Mint Macaron ink but stamped it 'off' first to give it a light tone.

The flowers were created using the little flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accent punch set.

I love how the Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron look together - it's a great colour combination!

Convention - Ribbon Brooch - Swaps

These are the Ribbon Brooches I created as my final Convention swap.

I have been making these for several years now. They are a great item for your craft stalls or to give to friends as a little gift.

They use the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I was so pleased to see these ribbons come back into our annual catalogue. They aren't quite the same as our previous ones from a couple of years back, so I had to adapt the design slightly - but I'm pleased with the results.

They are so easy to create - video tutorial coming very soon! :o)

I love the fraying you get when you cut the ribbon. You do get a little shedding at first, but this settles down very quickly. Once the shedding stops, it stops for good - so you aren't continually picking little fluffy bits off your clothes :o)

I used all the 5 different colours currently available in our catalogue and think I made about 30 to take as swaps. You can get 15 brooches of this size from 1 reel of ribbon so they aren't expensive to make :o)

Convention - Triangle Treat Box - Swap - Video Tutorial

For my main Convention swap, I created these little Triangular Treat Boxes. They are really sweet and a perfect size for hanging on the Tree.

I used the Festival of Trees stamp set and matching Punch.

The two colour ways are .... Old Olive with Cherry Cobbler - and Pool Party with Bermuda Bay.

The box works in various sizes. The tiny ones are half the size of my original box. I made a few of these for Convention too, but as I couldn't find any little wrapped sweet treats to fit them, I didn't do many.

The large box is exactly double the size of the original.

Here is the video tutorial .......

Convention - Card - Swaps

The card swaps I made for Convention were fairly quick to create.

I used the Baby Wipe Technique with the Seasonally Scattered stamp set.

This stamp set was MADE for this Technique! It looks so pretty :o)

For this first set of cards, I used the 2013 - 2015 In Colour collection inks and added a couple of the matching sequins to each card.

To use this Technique you need to make a small pile of baby wipes on a little tray and then add drops of reinker from each of the colours to it. You then use this as your 'ink pad' when inking your stamp.

I used some of the Regals Collection colours for this next set of cards.

The borders are from the Borderettes Photopolymer stamp set.

I decided to do a few Christmas ones at the last minute :o) These use several of the Blues - Night of Navy, Pool Party, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Marina Mist.

The cards are all highlighted with some of our Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
