Winter Wonderland - Week 9 'Make A Tree Decoration'

This week's challenge theme over at Winter Wonderland is to 'Make A Tree Decoration'. We really hope you will give this a go this week .... But remember if you still want to continue to make cards - that's fine too :o)



I created these lovely paper snowflakes using a YouTube tutorial from the wonderful Monica Gale. If you would like to have a go yourself, then here is the link - Paper Snowflake Tutorial. These snowflakes are really easy to make and take very little paper. I have followed Monica's tutorial, but just used smaller squares of paper - 6.5cm for the Blue and Brown Snowflake and 5.5cm for the Red and Blue Snowflake.

Midnight Madness #11 / Passion For Promarkers #9

I have combined 2 challenges with this card. Midnight Madness have another fab sketch this week. I normally follow the sketch challenges quite closely, but I've gone off the wall a bit with this one :o) Hopefully not too far though and it will still be accepted :o)

Passion For Promarkers colours for this week are ROSE PINK and LIME GREEN. I must admit these aren't my favourite combination for main colours, but I was able to tone them down a bit with blending :o)

The paper I've used here is absolutely gorgeous! I cut the flowers and butterflies out of one sheet that has the most marvellous glittering on it. The 2 background papers used also have a beautiful subtle shimmer (I couldn't get this to show up well in the photos).

And ....... I loved this paper so much, I just had to decorate the inside too! This is a big first for me never, ever having done this before :o)



I love this card ..... did you guess? LOL! It's the papers that have made it extra special for me :o)

CPS - #125

CPS have a great sketch this week. I have used one of the new Manga stamps from Sugar Nellie. I've been experimenting with fair hair and my Promarkers - so you will be seeing a few blondes on here in the next couple of weeks! I'm nowhere near happy with my fair haired beauties yet, but I know the more I practice the better I'll get ......... eventually! :o)
