Handsomely Suited - Bow Tie and Braces - Video Tutorial

I've been playing with the Handsomely Suited Bundle again for today's post and Video. I really love this suite of products for masculine cards. It's just so quick and easy to use.

Previously I have created a suit jacket for my cards so I wanted to try the Bow Tie and Braces this time.

The only stamping is the sentiment, everything else was die cut.

This is the card I created in the Video. It's a very special card and I'll tell you why below.

The die that creates the shirt placket also cuts the Braces. I was careful that the pattern ran down the middle of the die before cutting it out.

I cut the little silver bars towards the top of the braces with the little die meant for the top of the pocket - I did a little partial die cutting for this, but you could just cut small strips of foil instead if you wanted to.

I made this card for my wonderful Dad. I write this post on Saturday April 3rd and he passed in the early hours of this morning. He had been in hospital for about a week and I am so glad that I was able to visit him yesterday for a while as did others in my family. We all love you so much Dad and will miss you - give Mum a big hug from us all :o) xxx

Vine Design - Best Wishes

I have more cards using the Vine Design bundle to share with you today. This set is not carrying over into next month's new catalogue so I'm making the most of it while I can ... I love it :o)

Today's cards are very simple - but again very pretty.

I stamped the Vine leaves using Soft Sea Foam ink at the top and bottom of my Basic White panel and then embossed it using the Subtles Folder - which is another item not carrying over!

The Flowers for this first card were stamped using Magenta Madness and cut out using the coordinating Flowering Vine dies.

This second card uses Calypso Coral as the contrast colour.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment and the outline for the panel. The sentiment comes from the Borders Abound stamp set.

Vine Design - with the Brilliant Wings Dies - Video Tutorial

Today's cards use both the Vine Design stamp set and the coordinating Flowering Vine dies.

I also used the Brilliant Wings dies which are part of an early release of products coming in our new Annual Catalogue next month.

I used one of the beautiful Floral panel dies from the Flowering Vines set to create a stencil. This was then used to make the borders on the card. I show you a couple of ways to create the stencil in the Video below.

The Butterflies were created using the Brilliant Wings dies. I used paper from the Brights 6" Designer Series Paper pack but my designs are now retired we have all new patterns now - I have linked the newest paper pack below.

The colours used here were So Saffron and Melon Mambo.

This is the card I created in the Video. The colours used are Daffodil Delight - I wanted something a little brighter - and Pacific Point.
