Forever Blossoms - Birthday Card - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created these pretty cards using the Forever Blossoms stamp set and the Perennial Essence Vellum.

You are able to get two completely different looks with this Vellum. One side is darker than the other. If you place the Vellum into the embossing folder with this side up, then the result will be as the card on the left. If you have the lighter side up, then you will get a more distressed look like the card on the right. I like both results, but my favourite look has to be the distressed one :o)

I used the Old Olive Vellum for both of these cards.

The Vellum pack contains sheets in three different colours. I used the So Saffron for this card. The flowers are also in So Saffron with Pumpkin Pie in the centres. The leaves were coloured using Old Olive for all the cards.

This time I used the Petal Pink Vellum and used the lighter side of it.

The Flowers are also in Petal Pink with a little Crushed Curry for the centres.

The sentiment comes from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set. I stamped it a couple of times using Smoky Slate ink and then overstamped with Versamark ink. This was then Heat Embossed using Clear powder.

This is the card I created in the Video. The Flowers this time were watercoloured using Blushing Bride ink.

Here is the Video ...
