Something Lacy - Berry Basket

Today's project is another Berry Basket, decorated to match yesterday's card.

I cut the Basket from Whisper White cardstock and then stamped it with Something Lacy using Crisp Cantaloupe ink.

I love that you can staple this Basket together. It makes it so simple and quick to complete.

I tied some Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine around the base of the handles and tied it into a bow.  A couple of large Pearls finishes the sides nicely.

And .... of course .... the Card and Basket together :o)

Stampin' Up - Berry Basket Die With Petal Potpourri

The Berry Basket Bigz die is a lovely new die from Stampin' Up! I used it at Christmas, but wanted to play with it some more :o)

This time I used our Stapler to put the basket together. It was so much easier than trying to mess around with glue! :o)

I used the Petal Potpourri stamp set to decorate it. This set has a matching punch - the Flower Medallion, which makes it quick and easy to use. The stamp set and punch are also available as a Bundle in the Spring / Summer catalogue, so you can get a saving of 15% on the individual prices.

I stamped the flowers in both Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum and doubled them up before positioning them onto the basket. The centres were stamped in Daffodil Delight and although I cut them out by hand, you could use the 3/4" Circle punch.

The base of the Basket was cut from Perfect Plum cardstock. I used the Hardwood stamp with Elegant Eggplant ink to stamp over it, giving a wood effect.

The Tag was cut from Whisper White cardstock using the Note Tag Punch - this has carried over from the Autumn / Winter catalogue and is actually in our Weekly Deals this week for the amazing price of £11.63!

I inked the Flower with Daffodil Delight. Before stamping it onto the Tag, I stamped it 'off' onto scrap paper to make it lighter. The sentiment comes from Painted Petals and was stamped in Elegant Eggplant.

Stampin' Up! - Berry Basket BigZ Die!

Ohhh My Gosh! We definitely have some super exciting new products coming your way next month with the Spring / Summer Catalogue!

The Berry Basket Die is definitely one of them! It's a BigZ die, so you can use your standard plates with it. However, it does have score lines on it, so you may find you need to use your Crease Pad in place of the top plate. I didn't need to, so you may be ok too without :o)

This really is the sweetest basket!

You need to cut two of each of the pieces on the die. I used some of our Under The Tree Specialty papers for this. And ..... it's really easy to put together!

The basket itself is about 2 1/2" high. The top of it measures a little under 4" square and this tapers down to 3" square on the bottom.

I used the Get Your Santa On stamp set to decorate this one for Christmas, but can you imagine how gorgeous it would be decorated for Easter and filled with chocolate eggs or Spring flowers! :o)
