Over The Moon - Card Holder using Reflection / Mirror Image Technique - Video Tutorial

I know! I'm addicted to this stamp set! Over The Moon is just too cute .... I'm loving playing with it :o)

In today's Video I show you how I made this Card Holder.

I had six cards and envelopes in it but there's room for more - unless you make them very dimensional!

In the Video I show you how I created the Mirror Image of the cow .... and also how I removed the udders from the 'male' cow using a simple masking technique.

Forgive the eyelashes on my 'female' cow ... I forgot to do them until after I had embossed the panel! They are a little wonky!

Of course, I had to also create a card to coordinate! Ooops! Just noticed that I also forgot to add the grass to the box panel! Dang it ... I always forget to do something! :o)

Here is the Video ...

Mirror Image (or Reflection) Technique using the Stamparatus and Petal Palette - Video Tutorial

I have a very short bonus Technique Video for you today :o)

I wanted to have two Birds on this card, facing in opposite directions but the stamp set only includes the image for one Bird facing to the right. I decided to use the Mirror Image Technique for the Stamparatus to create my second Bird. You will find the Video for this below.

I have shown you this Technique before in one of my other Videos while creating a card, but today's Video just shows you the Technique itself and not how to create this card :o)

I've been playing with the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Petals & More dies for a few days now .... this was the 'busiest' card I produced! :o) It's such a beautiful set and I will miss it when it retires next month!

I stamped the Flowers in Basic Grey ink and watercoloured them using an Aqua Painter and the ink pads.

Here is the Video ...

Narrow Notecards Card Box - using So Hoppy Together - Video Tutorial

I have a really cute project to share with you today using the Sale-a-Bration stamp set - So Hoppy Together.

I created a little card box to contain some of Stampin' Up!'s Narrow Notecards and Envelopes. This isn't the first style of box I've created to hold these cards, you can find another project and Video Tutorial HERE.

You can find these cards on page 193 of the UK Annual Catalogue. The cards measure 11.4cm x 6.4cm (4½" x 2½") and are perfect as little notecards or 'Thank you' cards.

I wanted to use the gorgeous little Frog images again and decided to make two cards for each of the different main images, but also make each card slightly different to all the others :o) I wanted to incorporate all the Gingham Gala paper colours too, but as there are only five different colours I chose to use the Daffodil Delight twice :o)

I really enjoyed this project. It was pretty, bright and fun to do :o)

I made all the cards first. The layout of each is really simple, with just one dimensional layer for the image. Once they were all finished, I was able to work out the dimensions I needed for the box .... and this is what I am sharing with you in today's Video.

The stamp for this little Butterfly actually has him facing in the opposite direction. I wanted him to face my Frog though, so used the Mirror Image technique for the Stamparatus to create him :o) I also show you how to do this in the Video.

The box opens at the top and is simple to make.

Here is the Video ...
